Rita Delores Gunter

Mrs. Rita Delores Gunter, 77, of Eastville, Virginia, died Tuesday, January 2, 2007 at her residence. A native of Baltimore, Maryland, she was the daughter of the late Ernest William Smith and the late Mary Agnes Trott. She is survived by two daughters, Nina Lee Louthian and her husband Roy of Eastville, Va., & Nancy McKneely and her husband Steve of Mt. Jackson, Va.; two sisters, Virginia Hood of Maryland, Anna Wieber of Basye, Va.; six grandchildren, Bobbie Hopkins of Nassawadox, Va., Douglas Kratochvil of Exmore,Va., Kenneth Kratochvil of Eastville, Diana Louthian of Eastville, Russell Dull and Lisa Funkhouser both of Mt. Jackson, Va., and five great grandchildren, Dustin Mears of Eastville, Va., Cheyanne Simpson of Willis Wharf, Va., Kelly and Heather Funkhouser of Mt. Jackson, Va., Mariah Kratochvil of Exmore. She was predeceased by a son, Hugo E. Knight. A private family service will be held at a later date.
