Richard Floyd Boole, 70, died on January 1, 2008 at his home in Elmwood,TN, Formerly of the Eastern Shore, he was the son of the late Patrick and Viola Boole of Nassawadox. He is survived by his wife Lois Ballinger Boole, three sons, Richard, Ronnie, and Keith Boole; two stepsons, Lee and Charlie Sillery; two stepdaughters, Sue Coleman and Mary Haro; four sisters, Rose Johnson, Frances Ball, Peggy Downing, and Dorothy Stauffer; one brother, Patrick Boole; fifteen grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a son, Michael Boole, of Newport News, VA. Born on April 16, 1937, he became a member of Franktown United Methodist Church and attended Northampton High School before serving his country in the Army Air Corp. He retired from Hi-Cal Engineering in El Monte, CA in 1995 to then spend several years as a consultant. Before retiring again in 2005, he was the owner and manager of Sensor Systems Technology. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, January 11, 2008 at Franktown United Methodist Church, Franktown, VA with Rev. Alex Joyner and Rev. Jack Pruitt officiating.
