Rebecca Spence White

Rebecca Spence White, 80, wife of the late Theron Ray White and a resident of Charlottesville, VA, formerly of Belle Haven, VA, passed away Monday, March 2, 2015 at University of Virginia Medical Center in Charlottesville. A native of Quinby, VA, she was the daughter of the late George Dewey Spence and the late Virgie Elizabeth Zember Spence. She was a retired Reading Instructor for Accomack County Public Schools and a member of Belle Haven United Methodist Church. She is survived by two daughters, Sherri White Speese and her husband, Jack, of Georgia, Lorri White Freitas and her husband, Michael, of Charlottesville; three grandchildren, Joshua Speese of Georgia, Genevieve Speese Johnson and her husband, Andrew, of South Carolina and Wesley Harris of Charlottesville. To honor her wishes, a private graveside service was conducted and a memorial service will be held Saturday, March 7, 2015, at 3:00 PM at Belle Haven United Methodist Church with Reverend Paul Oh officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to American Heart Association, c/o Mr. Tom Rienerth, 12 King Street, Onancock, VA 23417.
