Rajan Patel

Rajan Patel, 43, husband of Nilima R. Patel and a resident of Exmore, VA, passed away Thursday, January 16, 2014 at Riverside Shore Memorial Hospital in Nassawadox, VA. A native of India, he was the son of Mahendra M. Patel and Mrudula Patel of Waterford Works, NJ. Mr. Patel was co-owner of Tru Blu Convenience Store in Exmore. In addition to his wife and parents, he is survived by two children, Kaival Patel and Krupa Patel, both of Exmore; two brothers, Umesh Patel and his wife, Nila, of Waterford Works and Rital Patel and his wife, Jalpa, of Berlin, NJ. Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, January 19, 2014 at 12:00 PM at Doughty Funeral Home in Exmore with Maharaj Anilbhai Patel officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Shore Christian Academy, 11624 Occohannock Road, Exmore, VA 23350.
