Phyllis Bell Alson

Phyllis Bell Alson, 81, wife of the late William Alson and a resident of Exmore, VA, passed away Monday, April 22, 2013 at her residence. A native of the Eastern Shore, she was the daughter of the late Carroll W. Bell and the late Evelyn Theobald Bell. She was retired from the federal government with 30 years of service and a member of Exmore Baptist Church. She is survived by three sons, Danny Savage of Exmore, Tim Savage and his wife, Bobbi, of Willis Wharf, VA, Craig Savage of Colonial Beach, VA; three brothers, Ralph Bell of Chesapeake, VA, David A. Bell of Virginia Beach, VA, Bobby Bell of Belle Haven, VA; two sisters, Carol Sue Robinson of Virginia Beach, Nancy Bell and her husband, Danny, of Greenbush, VA; six grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, April 25, 2013 at 2:00 PM at Exmore Baptist Church with Pastor Jonathan Carpenter officiating. Interment will follow in Red Bank Church Cemetery.
