Pauline Belote Simpson

Pauline Belote Simpson, 70, wife of Donald C. Simpson and a resident of Exmore, VA, passed away Sunday, September 18, 2016 at her residence. A native of Quinby, VA, she was the daughter of the late Johnnie Voyles and the late Ruby Voyles Mears. She attended Exmore Baptist Church.

In addition to her loving husband, she is survived by three children, Louis Belote, Jr. of Exmore, Bob Belote and his wife, Anne, of Eastville, VA, Melissa B. Munguia and her husband, Armando, of Alabama; five sisters, Ethel M. Shuster of Melfa, VA, Joyce Meeker Saunders of Melfa, Hazel Smack of Parksley, VA, Shirley Anderson of Melfa, Margaret Isabella of Painesville, OH; a brother, John Voyles, Jr. of Parksley, VA and five grandchildren, Adam Belote, Sarah Belote, Timothy Belote, Ashley Munguia and Michael Munguia.

Graveside services will be conducted Friday September 23, 2016 at 1:00 PM in Belle Haven Cemetery with Reverend Jonathan Carpenter officiating. Family will join friends Friday morning at the Doughty Funeral Home from 10 to 11:30. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to a charity of one's choice.
