Paul A. White, Sr.

Mr. Paul Ashby White, Sr., 81, husband of June Byrd White for 60 years and a resident of Onley, passed away Tuesday, April 17, 2007 at his residence after a short illness. He was the son of the late Joseph Linwood White, Sr. and the late Lyde Ashby White. He was a retired Aerospace Engineer Technician for N.A.S.A. with over 42 years of service. He was Past Master and Member of Central Masonic Lodge #300 AF & AM, former member of the Onley Town Council, and was active in helping organize the Onley Fire & Rescue. Other than his wife, he is survived by three children, Diane W. Atkinson of Painter, Va., Paul A. White, Jr. and his wife, Bonnie, of Accomac, Va., and James White and his wife, Lynn, of Onley, Va.; seven grandchildren, Traci Foley, Jennifer Piatak, Kelly Savage, Rebecca DiPrimio, Nicole Landon, Paula Lee, and John William Atkinson, Jr.; and nine great grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, April 21st at 11:00 a.m. from the graveside of Edgehill Cemetery in Accomac with the Rev. Robert L. Smoot officiating.
