Paul G. Watson, Jr.

Mr. Paul Granville Watson, Jr., 90, husband of the late Sophie Dunton Watson of Cheriton, passed away Sunday, October 8, 2006 at his residence. A native of Cape Charles, he was the son of the late Paul G. Watson and the late Amelia Taylor Watson. He was co-founder and owner of Paul's Restaurant in Cheriton which was established in 1937. He was a member of Cheriton Baptist Church and Capeville Masonic Lodge #107 AF&AM. He is survived by two sons, Paul G. Watson, III of Cape Charles, Va. & William Dunton Watson, Sr. and his wife Bev of Cheriton, Va.; six grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, October 11th at 2:00 PM from the graveside of Cape Charles Cemetery with Dr. Charles Peterson officiating.
