Paul W. Koontz

Paul William Koontz, 91, husband of Viola Tilley Koontz and a resident of Exmore, VA, passed away Wednesday, September 16, 2015 at his residence. A native of Carroll County, MD, he was the son of the late Edgar W. Koontz and the late Reta Hyde Koontz. He was a retired owner of a milk delivery business for Willow Farms Dairy, driver for Springfield State Hospital and member of Onley United Methodist Church. In addition to his loving wife of 73 years, he is survived by a daughter, Sandy Savage and her husband, Fred, of Exmore; a niece, Shirley Marie Deeds and her husband, Mark, of Accomac, VA; three great nieces, Brandi Drummond, Brytni Deeds, Bryana Deeds; a great-great niece, Kinsley and two great-great nephews, Will and Mason. He was predeceased by a granddaughter, Robin Lynette Savage. A celebration of life service will be conducted Thursday, September 24, 2015 at 2:00 PM at Onley United Methodist Church with Reverend Chuck Parks officiating. Family will join friends following the service at the Social Hall. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice and Palliative Care of the Eastern Shore, 165 Market Street, Suite #3, Onancock, VA 23417.
