Paul Bruce Beckwith

Paul Bruce Beckwith, 80, husband of Bernice Reney Beckwith and a resident of East Hampton, New York, passed away Friday, March 14, 2008 at the home of his son in Painter. A native of East Hampton, he was the son of the late Cecil and Grace Talmage Beckwith. Mr. Beckwith was a retired commercial fisherman and a member of the Local 138 Operators Union, Long Island, N.Y. Other than his wife, he is survived by five children, Paul Bruce Beckwith and his wife, Sue of Montauk, N.Y., Edward Beckwith and his wife, Joanne of East Hampton, N.Y., Guy Beckwith of East Hampton, N.Y., John Beckwith and his wife, Caryl of Painter and Valerie Beckwith-Rosen of Princess Anne, MD; seven grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren. A private family service will be held at East Hampton at a later date. The family would like to give special thanks to Jessica Shelley and Mary Crockett for their loving care.
