Patricia E. Grez

Patricia E. Grez, 72, wife of Alfred W. Grez and a resident of Painter, passed away Saturday, December 18, 2010 at Riverside Shore Memorial Hospital. A native of Wilmington, DE, she was the daughter of the late John and Ethel Nell Filacheck. Mrs. Grez was a member of the St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church, Onley, VA and Ladies Auxiliary of Knights of Columbus. Other than her husband, survivors include five children, Joseph W. Grez and his wife Linda of North Bend, WA, John M. Grez and his wife Dawn of Lafayette, LA, Mary E. Schofield and her husband David of Abingdon, MD, Ann P. Hughes and her husband Patrick of Nottingham, PA, and Michael A . Grez of Nanjing, China; six grandchildren, Michell, Mary Louise, Marissa, Evan, Caren and Anna; and one great-granddaughter, Lauren Hailey. A funeral Mass will be held Wednesday, December 22, 2010 at 11:00 AM at St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church, 25236 Coastal Blvd., Onley, VA with Father Rodrigo C. Mingollo officiating. Family will join friends Tuesday evening from 7 to 8:30 at Doughty Funeral Home in Exmore. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church, P.O.
