Nicole Way Wankerl

Nicole Way Wankerl, 30, of Norfolk, VA formerly of Springfield, IL passed away on November 24, 2011. She was born April 17, 1981 in Springfield to Dan and Tammy Way. She married Nathan Wankerl in 2006. Survivors include husband, father and stepmother; Dan and Janeen Way of Tallula and mother Tammy Kraemer of Springfield, two daughters; Ariana and Ciara Wankerl, one sister Kristy Way Smith of Springfield, and several aunts, uncles, cousins, two nieces and one nephew. Nicole graduated from Southeast High School, she chose and loved to be a stay at home mom. Visitation: 5 - 7 p.m. Tuesday, November 29, 2011 at Staab Funeral Home. Funeral Service: 11 a.m., Wednesday, November 30, 2011 at Staab Funeral Home, Springfield, IL with Pastor Clint Cook officiating. Burial will be at Roselawn Memorial Park In lieu of flowers memorials may be given to a college fund for her two daughters in care of CEFCU. Local Arrangements made by Doughty Funeral Home, Exmore.
