Nelson Cruz

Nelson Cruz, 34, a resident of Cheriton, VA, passed away Tuesday, July 11, 2023. A native of Nassawadox, VA, he is the son of Ignacio Cruz and Estela Uribe Cruz. He was employed as an Irrigation Installer for Shore Irrigation.

Nelson is survived by his daughter, Mayra Liz Cruz; the mother of his daughter, Marisol Ramirez; brother, Alejandro Cruz and his wife, Irma Jose Perez, and their children, Alberto Rafael Cruz and Alejandro Gabriel Cruz; brother, Ignacio Cruz, Jr. and his wife, Eloina Cruz, and their children, Ignacio Cruz, III and Iliana Cruz; and brother, David Cruz.

A graveside service will be conducted Sunday, July 16, 2023, at 2 :00PM, at Capeville Masonic Cemetery with Father Michael Imperial officiating. A Vigil will be held Saturday evening from 5:00PM til 8:00 PM, with Mass beginning at 7:00PM at the funeral home.

A Nelson le sobreviven su hija, Mayra Liz Cruz; la madre de su hija, Marisol Ramírez; hermano, Alejandro Cruz y su esposa, Irma José Pérez, y sus hijos, Alberto Rafael Cruz y Alejandro Gabriel Cruz; hermano, Ignacio Cruz, Jr. y su esposa, Eloina Cruz, y sus hijos, Ignacio Cruz, III e Iliana Cruz; y hermano, David Cruz.

Se llevará a cabo un servicio junto a la tumba el domingo 16 de julio de 2023, a las 2:00 p. m., en el cementerio masónico de Capeville con el oficiante del padre Michael Imperial. Se llevará a cabo una vigilia el sábado por la noche de 5:00 p. m. a 8:00 p. m., y la misa comenzará a las 7:00 p. m. en la funeraria.
