Nancy Eubank Wendell

Nancy Hoskins Eubank Wendell, 78, of Salisbury, MD, passed away Tuesday, April 3, 2007 at Coastal Hospice at the Lake. Born on April 9, 1928 at Rose Hill Farm in Northampton County, Cape Charles, Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Joseph Phillip Eubank and Ruth Garrison Burton Eubank. She was married for 35 years to the late Harold Joseph Wendell who passed away on October 16, 1987. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Joseph Phillip Eubank, Jr. Mrs. Wendell was a member of the National Society of the Colonial Dames XVII Century. She was also a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution. She is survived by a sister, Sally Nelson Schwartz and her husband, Bradford Benjamin Schwartz, of Glen Rock, Pennsylvania; a son Harold Joseph Wendell, Jr. and his wife, Joan Elizabeth Wendell, of Allen, MD; a daughter, Nancy Wendell Brokaw and her husband, Frederick Warren Brokaw, III, of Laurel, MD; two grandchildren, Elizabeth Nora Brokaw and Frederick Warren Brokaw, IV, of Laurel, MD and several nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, April 14, 2007 at 1:00 PM in Cape Charles Cemetery, Cape Charles, Virginia with the Rev. Robert S. Phipps officiating.
