Nancy Victoria Alm

Nancy Victoria Alm, 71, of Cape Charles continued on her journey of life on September 26, 2008. She was predeceased by her parents Annie & Hugo Anderson, her brother David Anderson, daughter Jennifer Alm and a daughter-in-law Debra Alm. Left to cherish her memory are her soul mate of 20 years, Donna Campbell with whom she resided, and many family and friends especially her sister Florence Donovan of Melbourne, FL, her children Donald and Cheryl Alm of Bordentown, NJ, Nancy and Jerry Franklin of Burlington, NJ, Madeline and Robert Laverty of Hamilton, NJ, Carl Alm of Cape Charles, VA, 10 grandchildren, 1 great grandson, her beloved cousins here and in Sweden and her former husband Donald and his wife Thelma Alm of Toms River, NJ. Born in Kearny, NJ, Nancy graduated from Kearny High School and attended DuCret School of the Arts, Plainfield, NJ, and graduating student of the year. She worked for 20 years for AT&T in NJ and was an award winning artist in both NJ and VA. Nancy was an active member of the Garden State Watercolor Society and the Chesapeake Bay Watercolor Artist. Nancy always said, "Life is a journey and to paint along the way is food for my soul". Quick to smile and entertain with her stories, she made friends wherever she went. A Celebration of Life Service will be held in East Brunswick, NJ and VA at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Eastern Shore Art League, P.O.
