Nan Tankard

Charlotte Nan Tankard, 64, a resident of Richmond, VA, formerly of Cape Charles, VA, passed away Thursday, October 8, 2015, at MCV Hospital in Richmond. She was the daughter of the late Thornton M. Tankard and the late Norma Leigh Charnock Tankard. She graduated from Virginia Tech and was a mental health counselor. She is survived by a brother, Charles D. "Chuck" Tankard and his wife, Christine, of Capeville, VA; two nieces, Allison Tankard Moyer and her husband Kenton of Powhatan, VA and Ursula Tankard Deitch and her husband, Christopher, of Parksley, VA. To honor her wishes no public service will be held. Memorials may be made to the S.P.C.A. Animal Shelter, P. O. Box 164, Onley, VA 23418.
