Myrtle F. McAllen

Myrtle Frances McAllen, 88, wife of the late William Wesley McAllen and a resident of Cape Charles passed away Saturday November 19, 2005 at Heritage Hall Health Care in Nassawadox. A native of Sanford, Va., she was the daughter of the late Edward Swift and the late Myrtle Whitelock Swift. Mrs. McAllen is survived by a son, Larry W. McAllen and his wife Margaret of Cheriton, Va., four grandchildren; Jessica McAllen Smith, Heather McAllen, Natalie McAllen and Carolyn Ulrich and two great grandchildren; William Ulrich and Stacey Ulrich. Mrs. McAllen was predeceased by a son, William Edward McAllen and two sisters, Ella Mae Swift Godwin and Pearl White. Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday November 22, 2005 at 2:00 PM in Wilkins-Doughty Funeral Home, Cape Charles, with the Rev. Russell Goodrich officiating. Interment will be in Downings Cemetery, Oak Hall, Va. Family will join friends Monday evening from 5 to 6 PM at the funeral home. Arrangements made by Wilkins-Doughty Funeral Home, Cape Charles, Va.
