Myrene Bradshaw Poulson

Myrene Bradshaw Poulson, 84, wife of Herman T. Poulson and a resident of Willis Wharf, passed away Saturday, March 13, 2010 at Riverside Shore Memorial Hospital. A native of Harborton, Mrs. Poulson was the daughter of the late John F. and Grace Wilson Bradshaw. Mrs. Poulson was a member of Harborton Methodist Church for 19 years and Epworth United Methodist Church for 65 years, where she was a choir member. She retired from SunTrust Bank in Nassawadox. Other than her husband, she is survived by a daughter, Lynn P. Patykula, and her husband, Joseph, of Yorktown, VA; a sister, Marion B. Ward and her husband, Charles, of Exmore, VA; two grandchildren, Julie and Michael Patykula, both of Washington, DC; and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, March 16, 2010 at 11:00 am at the Epworth United Methodist Church with the Rev. L. Raymond McGarr and Rev. Elizabeth Freund officiating. Interment will follow in the Belle Haven Cemetery. Family will join friends Monday evening from 7:00 to 8:30 at Doughty Funeral Home, Exmore.
