Monty Allen Webb

Mr. Monty Allen Webb, 65, of Jamesville, passed away Saturday, November 17, 2007 at his residence. A native of Jamesville, he was the son of the late George Davis Webb and the late Violet Chambers Webb. He was a retired Band Director for Cape Charles High School and for Northampton Public Schools. He was a Charter Boat Captain for 40 years. He attended Bethel United Methodist Church, and was a member of Exmore Moose Lodge #683 and the Virginia Charter Boat Association. He is survived by a son, David Thomas Webb, of New York, N.Y.; a brother, Tommy Webb, and his wife Claudia of Jamesville, Va.; an uncle, Wilson Chambers and his wife Grace of Parksley, Va. and several cousins. Funeral services for Mr. Webb will be conducted Tuesday, November 20, 2007 at 2:00 PM from the Doughty Funeral Home in Exmore with the Rev. Robert Schoeman officiating. Interment will follow in the Belle Haven Cemetery. Family will join friends at the Doughty Funeral Home Monday evening from 7 to 8:30.
