Mollie Kay A. Smith

Mollie Kay Agathoin Smith, 71, wife of Oscar H. Smith, Jr. and a resident of Jamesville, passed away Sunday Feb. 18, 2007 at her residence. A native of Harborton, she was the daughter of the late George Lee Agathoin and the late Carrie Parker Agathoin. Mrs. Smith was employed as a bookkeeper by Kirkwood & Associates and Eastern Shore Beverage Distributors. She was a member of the Bethel United Methodist Church where she served as organist for many years. Other than her husband, she is survived by three sons; Oscar H. Smith, III,"Hank", of Jamesville, Dion G. Smith and his wife Rhonda of Gloucester, Va, and Douglas P. Smith of Jamesville; a sister, Diona Lee Agathoin Kellam and her husband James H. of Hampton, Va; five grandchildren, Dion E. Smith, Michael Smith, Nikki Smith, Sydney Smith and Robert Smith; one great granddaughter, Lydia Rene` Smith and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, February 22, 2007 at 11:00 AM from Bethel United Methodist Church with Rev. J. Robert Schoeman officiating. Interment will follow in Belle Haven Cemetery. Family will join friends Wednesday evening from 7:00 to 8:30 PM at the Doughty Funeral Home, Exmore.
