Michel Rene Mlodynia, 79, husband of Eve Meditz Mlodynia and a resident of Machipongo, VA, passed away Thursday, February 21, 2019 at Sentara Virginia Beach General Hospital in Virginia Beach, VA. A native of St. Ettienne, France, he was the son of the late John Mlodynia and the late Wladislawa Tutak Mlodynia. He was a retired Elevator Cab Designer for DC Elevator and 3rd Degree Knight and Recorder of Knights of Columbus- St. Charles Borromeo. Michel was an active member of St. Charles Catholic Church, helping with the annual church picnic and coats for kids.
In addition to his loving wife, he is survived by two stepsons, Freddie Meditz of Cape Charles, VA, and Michael Meditz and his wife, Rina, of Virginia Beach; his twin brother Henry Mlodynia of Richfield Springs, NY; two sisters-in-law, Irene Mlodynia and Marion Mlodynia, both of Long Island, NY; a grandson, Jayden Meditz of Virginia Beach; and nephews and nieces. He was predeceased by two brothers, Albert Mlodynia and Stanley Mlodynia.
Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, April 27, 2019, at 11:00 AM at St. Charles Catholic Church with Father J. Michael Breslin officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Charles Catholic Church, 545 Randolph Avenue, Cape Charles, Virginia 23310.
