Michael Dean Wells, 69, received eternal life on Monday, May 10, 2021. Born & raised in WV, he graduated from WVU. As a contract engineer for the Navy, Mike won many service medals, enjoyed his work & world travel. Retirement found him on the Eastern Shore of VA where he joined the Atlantic United Methodist Church & served his Lord in many ways. The Atlantic Volunteer Fire & Rescue Co. & Oak Hall Rescue Station 20, were Mike’s second home as he often won the award of making the most calls. He rode his 1994 Harley Davidson motorcycle across the country & was a charter member of the Harley Owners Group. Because Mike considered himself a CHEVY NUT, he only bought Chevy trucks & cars. His love of antiques made him restore & show his 1955 & two 1957 models. As a member of many car clubs including the Eastern Shore Cruisers, his home is full of trophies. He enjoyed history & adventure books, museums & old Western movies. Mike received joy from his garden because he shared flowers & vegetables with neighbors. Mike will be missed by his many friends & family as he touched countless lives with his wit & kindness.
To honor his wishes no public services will be conducted.
