Mea Corbin Payne

Mea Corbin Payne, 51, a resident of Newport News, VA, passed away Friday, May 13, 2011 at her residence. A native of Exmore, VA, she was the daughter of the late Bruce P. Corbin and the late Emma Alvord Lasche. She was a U.S. Coast Guard veteran. She is survived by her son, Thomas Coyne of Ft. Hood, TX; a sister, Leah Corbin Fisher and her husband Jerry of Craddockville, VA; two brothers, Harry Corbin of Exmore, VA, and Chris Corbin of Chincoteague, VA; a stepsister, Lisa Lasche of Los Angeles, CA. She was predeceased by a daughter, Jenny Coyne. A graveside service with military honors will be held Sunday, May 22, 2011, at 4:00 PM at the Fairview Lawn Cemetery in Onancock, VA with the Rev. Bobby Parks officiating. In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to the S.P.C.A. Animal Shelter, P. O. Box 164, Onley, VA 23418.
