Maxine Elliott Kellam

November 5, 1933 — January 30, 2007

Mrs. Maxine Gardner Elliott Kellam, 73, wife of Edward E. Kellam and a resident of Eastville, passed away at Shore Memorial Hospital Tuesday, January 30, 2007. A native of Townsend, Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Francis Percy Elliott and the late Susie Mae Belote Elliott. She was a retired Seamstress at Gregg Harriett Shirt factory. She was a member of the Ladies Auxillary VFW Post #8276 Delmar, Maryland. Other than her husband, she is survived by two children, Edward Timothy Kellam and his wife Cindy of Eastville, Va., Susan Ann Kellam of Virginia Beach, Va., two grandsons, Jeremy Andrew Kellam of Eastville, Va., Wayne Thomas Mears of Birdsnest, Va.; seven brothers and sisters, Janet Barrett of Commerce City, Co. Henrietta Rogers of Simpsonville, S.C., Boyce Elliott of Temple Hill, Md., John Elliott of Palm Harbor, Fla., Shirley Rose of Mineral, Va., Edna Eder of Townsend, Va., Francis Percy Elliott Jr. of Delmar, Md.; and a special niece, Tammy Sue Nottingham. Funeral services will be conducted Friday, February 2nd at 1:00 PM from the Doughty Funeral Home in Exmore with the Rev. Patricia Kellam officiating. Interment will follow in the Eastville Baptist Church Cemetery. Family will join friends at the Doughty Funeral Home Thursday evening from 7 to 8:30. In honor of her love for animals, memorial contributions may be made to the S.P.C.A. Animal Shelter, P.O. Box 164, Onley, Va. 23418.
