Mrs. Maxine Helms Foster, 92, wife of the late Edward Foster and a resident of Melfa, Va., passed away Friday, December 2, 2005 at Shore Memorial Hospital. She was a native of Preston County, West Virginia and was the daughter of the late Sherman Helms and the late Mary Alberta Perrill. She was a third grade school teacher for the Baltimore School System. She was a volunteer for Warren County Hospital and a member of the Jolly 60's. She is survived by her daughter, Carolyn Greaser and her husband Clarence of Melfa, Va., two grandchildren, Ronald Greaser and his wife Diane, Brent Greaser and his wife Sharon; four great grandchildren, Allison and Jacob Greaser, Justin and Joey Johnson. She was predeceased by two brothers, Arnold and Hope Helms. Funeral Services will be conducted Wednesday, December 7, 2005 at 1:00 PM from the Rotruck-Lobb Funeral Home in Kingwood,West Virginia. Interment will follow in the Sunset Memorial Gardens in Kingwood, West Virginia. Family will join friends at the Rotruck-Lobb Funeral Home Tuesday evening from 7 to 9. Memorials may be made to Hospice of the Eastern Shore, P.O. Box 316, Parksley, Va. 23421. Arrangments made by Doughty Funeral Home, Exmore.
