Mary Williams Recker

Mary Williams Recker, 86, wife of the late Frederick E. Recker and a resident of Franktown, VA and The Hermitage in Onancock, VA, formerly of Alexandria, VA , passed away Thursday, November 11, 2010 at Riverside Shore Memorial Hospital. A native of Danville, VA, she was the daughter of the late Allen B. and Mary DeMott Williams. Mrs. Recker was a member of the Baptist Temple Church of Alexandria. Survivors include two sons, Frederick E. Recker, Jr. and his wife Janice of Franktown, VA and William S. Recker of Farnham , VA; a sister, Grace Beverly Merricks of Danville, VA; six grandchildren and one great granddaughter. Mrs. Recker was predeceased by a son, Ernest A. Recker. Funeral service will be held Monday, November 15, 2010 at 1:00 PM from the graveside of Mt. Comfort Cemetery, 6600 South Kings Highway, Alexandria, VA with Rev. W. Benjamin Boswell officiating.
