Mary Lou Smith Lamb

Mary Lou Smith Lamb, 75, wife of Robert D. Lamb and a resident of Cheriton, VA, passed away Friday, April 27, 2012 at her residence. A native of Cheriton, she was the daughter of the late Haney Allen Smith and the late Verona Hamilton Smith. She was an active member of Cheriton United Methodist Church. In addition to her husband, she is survived by a son, Robert Dale Lamb, Jr. and his wife, Lisa, of Virginia Beach, VA; a granddaughter, Laura Katherine Lamb, of Virginia Beach; a nephew, Stephen Douglas Smith, of Kiptopeake, VA and a niece, Mary Susan Bowman, of Seaford, DE. She was predeceased by a brother, Haney Allen Smith, Jr. A graveside service will be held Wednesday, May 2, 2012, at 2:00 PM at the Cape Charles Cemetery with Reverend Lynda Moore and Reverend Russell Goodrich officiating.
