Mary Moore Kaczorowski, 88, wife of the late Walter J. Kaczorowski and a resident of Willis Wharf, VA, passed away Sunday, February 26, 2012 at Riverside Shore Memorial Hospital in Nassawadox, VA. A native of Willis Wharf, she was the daughter of the late Jeter Moore and the late Lucy Guy Moore. She was a retired administrator for the Veterans Claims Office and a member of Exmore Baptist Church. She is survived by two daughters, Gail Ewing and her husband, Daniel, of Jamesville, Va., Lynn P. Wood and her husband, Johnny, of Mosley, Va; nine grandchildren, Todd Brady of Richmond, VA, Andrea Doughty and her husband, Kevin, of Belle Haven, VA, Ashley King and her husband, Erik, of Richmond, Jamie Partin of New Orleans, LA, Laura Harkin and her husband, Gragg, of Hertford, NC, Catina Byrum and her husband, Jimmy, of Tyner, N.C., John E. Wood IV of Richmond, Susan Athey and her husband, Joey, of Beckley, WV, Kelli Gregory and her husband ,Neno, of Scarboro, WV; eight great grandchildren, Tanner B. Doughty of Belle Haven, Barron King of Richmond, Luke and Faith Byrum of Tyner,Josie and Madison Athey of Beckley, Samantha and Logan Gregory of Scarboro. She was predeceased by two sisters, Florence M. Lawson, Lucy M. Zember, and a granddaughter-in- law, Cary M. Brady. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, February 29, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. from the Doughty Funeral Home in Exmore with Pastor Jonathan Carpenter and Mr. Kemmie Dize officiating. Interment will follow in the Belle Haven Cemetery. Family will join friends at the Doughty Funeral Home one hour prior to the service.
