Mary Alice Fisher

Mrs. Mary Alice Fisher, 68, wife of the late Charles Theodore Fisher, Jr. and a resident of Exmore, Virginia, passed away Sunday, December 3, 2006 at Heritage Hall Health Care in Nassawadox. A native of Robeson County, N.C., she was the daughter of the late Ed G. Canady and the late Essie Jackson Canady. She was a retired clerk for Shore Stop and a member of Green Springs Baptist Church in Parkton, N.C. She is survived by three children, Charles Theodore Fisher, III of Germany, Jerry A. Fisher and his fiancee` Tammy Fate of Belle Haven, Va., & Mary Katherine Albin and her husband Timothy of Long Island, New York.; two brothers, Wilton Canady of Hope Mills, N.C.,& Ray Canady of Parkton, N.C.; a sister, Marie Malaeuti of Fayetteville, N.C.; and three grandchildren. She was predeceased by two sisters, Edna Odom, & Dorothy Baxley, and a brother, Jr. Canady. Funeral services will be conducted Friday December 8, 2006 at 2:00 pm from the Green Springs Baptist Church, Parkton, N.C. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Family will join friends Thursday evening from 6 to 8 pm in Hamilton-Porter Funeral Home in Hope Mills, N.C.
