Mary Frances Drummond

Mary Frances Elliott Drummond, 91, wife of Roy W. Drummond, Sr. and a resident of Pungoteague, VA, passed away Thursday, September 18, 2008 at her residence. A native of Painter, VA, she was the daughter of the late David W. Elliott, Sr. and the late Sue Sturgis Elliott. Mrs. Drummond was a retired Postmaster of Pungoteague Post Office and a member of the Pungoteague Community Church. Other than her husband, she is survived by a son, Roy W. Drummond, Jr. and his wife Jean of Pungoteague, two grandsons, Raymond Earl Drummond and his wife Amy of Pungoteague and David Roy Drummond and his wife Sandy of Belle Haven, four great grandsons, Trevor Myles Drummond, Brian David Drummond, Nicholas Chase Drummond, and Joshua A. Taylor. Mrs. Drummond was predeceased by a son, F. Elliott Drummond. A memorial service will be held from the graveside of Belle Haven Cemetery Saturday, September 20, 2008 at 11:00 A.M with the Rev.
