Mary Margaret Bowen

Mary Margaret Bowen, 83, wife of the late John Maury Bowen and a resident of Cape Charles, passed away Tuesday, January 8, 2008 at Shore Memorial Hospital in Nassawadox. A native of Cheriton, she was the daughter of the late Baker Benjamin Dennis and the late Virginia Widgeon Dennis. She was a retired nurses aid from Heritage Hall Health Care. She was a member of Cheriton Baptist Church. She is survived by a son, Robert Lee Bowen and his wife Karen of Indiana; a daughter, Virginia Oneil Lewis and her husband Carl of Capeville, Va.; five grandchildren, Jennifer Oneil Bradford, Kimberly Anne Lewis, Carl James Lewis, III and his wife Ashleigh, Meggan Conover and Robert Lee Bowen, Jr.; and three great grandchildren, Ashlee Oneil Bradford, Carl James Lewis, IV, and Kylee Conover. Funeral services will be conducted Friday, January 11, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. from the graveside of Cape Charles Cemetery with the Rev. Charles Peterson officiating.
