Mary Elizabeth Murdock Bailey

Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Murdock Bailey, 77, wife of the late Harry Atley Bailey and resident of Cape Charles, passed away Sunday, October 29, 2006 at her residence. A native of Eastville, she was the daughter of the late James Bernard Murdock, Sr. and the late Agnes Wood Murdock. She and her husband were retired owners of Bailey's Drive-in. She is survived by a daughter, Debbie B. Williamson and her husband Tommy of Lubbock, Texas, and a son, H.A. Bailey, Jr. of Seaview, a sister, Lois M. Maroney of Cheriton and 4 grandchildren, Joseph Weston Bailey of Seaview, Lauren Elizabeth Bailey of Salisbury, Md., Terri Elizabeth Williamson of Lubbock, Texas and James Atley Williamson and his wife Robin of Lubbock, Texas. Mrs. Bailey was predeceased by a sister, Dorothy Murdock Whitehead and a brother James B. "Buck" Murdock, Jr. Funeral services will be conducted from the graveside of Cape Charles Cemetery, Thursday, November 2nd at 11:00 am with the Rev. Nathan Decker officiating.
