Marvin Birch, Jr.

Mr. Marvin Birch, Jr. better known as Goo Goo, 64, husband of India Winslow Birch and a resident of Eastville passed away Thursday, January 26, 2006 at Heritage Hall Health Care in Nassawadox. A native of Oyster he was the son of the late Marvin Birch and the late Mary Ellen Brady Birch. He was retired from Bayshore Concrete and was a member of Exmore Moose Lodge #683. Other than his wife he is survived by two children, Gregory Birch of Exmore, Va., Tara Lynn Birch Parkerson of Smith Beach,Va.; two step-children, Billy Brady of Waverly, Va., Connie Brady of Cape Charles, Va.; five brothers, Allen Birch of Eastville, Richard and John Birch both of Chincoteague, Va.,Robert Birch of Chesapeake,and Kenny Birch and his wife Norma of Princess Anne, Md.;6 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild, numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, January 29, 2006 at 2:00 PM from the graveside of Capeville Masonic Cemetery, Capeville with the Rev. Joe Strock officiating. Family will join friends at the Wilkins-Doughty Funeral Home Sunday morning from 10 to 12 noon. Arrangements made by Wilkins-Doughty Funeral Home, Cape Charles.
