Martin Girard Michael Loper

Captain Martin Girard Michael Loper, 59, a resident of Cape Charles, VA, passed away Saturday, February 20, 2016 at his residence. A native of Philadelphia, PA, he was the son of the late Rita Marie Barrett Loper. He was a retired commercial fisherman.
He is survived by two sons, Michael Eric Loper and his wife, Jennifer, of Hubert, NC, Dominic Gerard Loper of Chesapeake, VA and a granddaughter, Milena Loper of Hubert.
To honor his request he will be buried at sea. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Seamen's Bethel, 15 Johnny Cake Hill, New Bedford, MA 02740.
