Martha Parker Gladden, 75, a resident of Cape Charles, VA, passed away Tuesday, February 25, 2020, at Heritage Hall Healthcare in Nassawadox, VA. A native of Cheriton, VA, she was the daughter of the late Willie Henry Parker and the late Martha Marshall Parker. She was a retired CNA for Heritage Hall Healthcare.
She is survived by two children, Wayne Todd Gladden and his wife, Nicole, of Tampa, FL, and Sherri Gladden DeMarino and her husband, Mark, of Cheriton; two sisters, Sylvia P. Nash of Scranton, PA, and Norma P. Hoffpauir of Orange, TX; five grandchildren, Peyton Asal, Hannah Sky DeMarino, Cassandra Gladden, Michael Gladden, and Kyle Ciaccio; two great grandchildren, Luke and Sam; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a brother, Allan Parker; and two sisters, Phyllis Etz and Ethel Thornes.
A celebration of life Martha's life will be conducted Saturday, August 28, 2021, at 5:00PM at 204 Washington Avenue, Cape Charles, Virginia 23310. As all of you know due to the pandemic we were not able to have a funeral. So we would like to invite our family and friends to a cookout. Please bring a covered dish to share.
