Mark V. Killmon

Mark Vandyke Killmon, 68, husband of Mary Marsh Killmon and a resident of Willis Wharf, passed away Saturday, June 21, 2008. A native of Willis Wharf, he was the son of the late Oscar V. "Pluck" Killmon and the late Ella Smith Killmon Owens. Mr. Killmon was a retired mechanic for VDOT, a member of the Exmore Baptist Church and was a U.S. Airforce veteran. Other than his wife, he is survived by two children, Rhonda L. Killmon of Portsmouth, VA and Ellen Killmon Page of Murfreesboro, TN; three grandchildren, Jessica Thompson of Willis Wharf, Matthew and Jacob Page of Murfreesboro, TN. Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, June 24, 2008 at 1:00 pm from the graveside of Belle Haven Cemetery with the Rev. Everett Landon officiating.
