Marion Bradshaw Ward

November 22, 1930 — February 23, 2013

Marion Bradshaw Ward, 82, wife of the Charles G. Ward, Sr. and a resident of Exmore, VA, passed away Saturday, February 23, 2013 at her residence. A native of Harborton, VA, she was the daughter of the late John F. Bradshaw and the late Grace Wilson Bradshaw. She was a member of Epworth United Methodist Church. In addition to her husband, she is survived by three children, Patsy W. Turner and her husband, Jimmy, of Exmore, Pam W. Carpenter and her husband, Kris, of Nassawadox, VA, Charles Gill Ward, Jr. and his wife, Roxane, of Exmore; four grandchildren, Luke Carpenter, Brad Carpenter, J Turner, Colton Ward, and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her beloved sister, Myrene B. Poulson and brother-in-law, Herman T. Poulson. A graveside service will be conducted Monday, February 25, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at Belle Haven Cemetery with Reverend Jon M. Woodburn officiating. Family will join friends at Doughty Funeral Home on Sunday evening from 7 to 8:30. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to St. Mary's Home for Disabled Children Embrace Fund, 6171 Kempsville Circle, Norfolk, VA 23502.
