Marie C. Turner

Marie Carpenter Turner, 85, wife of the late Henry A. "Jack" Carpenter and the late Thomas L. Turner, and a resident of Nassawadox, VA, passed away Monday, October 9, 2017, at Heritage Hall Healthcare. A native of Belle Haven, VA, she was the daughter of the late Roland E. Taylor and the late Catherine Bryant Taylor. She retired from Super Fresh.

She is survived by three children, Jacqueline C. Killmon and her husband, Ernest "Buzzy", of Nassawadox, H. Adrian Carpenter, IV and his wife, Kathy, of Franktown, VA, Martha Page Davis and her husband, Mark, of Dayton, TN; two sisters, Olga Rennawanz and her husband, Douglas, of Frankford, DE, Carolyn Jackson and her husband, Ray, of Delaware; a sister-in-law, Ann Harrison, of Exmore, VA; six grandchildren, Mary Elizabeth Killmon, Ann Marie Malik, Amanda C. Jarvis, Jason D. Killmon, Joshua Davis, Rachael Davis; and eleven great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, October 14, 2017, at 11:00 a.m. at Doughty Funeral Home with Reverend Douglas Rennawanz officiating. Interment will follow in Belle Haven Cemetery. Family will join friends at Doughty Funeral Home Friday evening from 7:00 to 8:30. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to a charity of one's choice.
