Marie Evans

Marie Evans, 93, a resident of Birdsnest, VA, and Quinby, VA, passed away Friday, September 9, 2011, at Heritage Hall Healthcare in Nassawadox, VA. A native of Accomack County, VA, she was the daughter of the late Samuel H. Evans and the late Delcenia Bailey Evans. She was a member of Smith Chapel United Methodist Church. Mrs. Evans is survived by two sisters, Hilda Downing of Birdsnest,and Willisy Tull of Quinby; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted Monday, September 12, 2011 at 11:00 AM from the graveside at the Wachapreague Cemetery with Rev. Rebecca McGee officiating. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to a charity of one's choice.
