Marian Travis Luettinger

Mrs. Marian Travis Luettinger, 85, devoted wife of the late William A. Luettinger of Cape Charles, passed away Tuesday, October 17, 2006 at her residence. A native of Cape Charles, she was the daughter of the late Charles F. Travis and the late Nora Parsons Travis. She was a Presbyterian. Mrs. Luettinger is survived by two daughters, Etta Kaye Pruitt and her husband Jimmy, Libby Thomas and her husband Bobby both of Cape Charles, Va.; five grandchildren, Elizabeth P. Burak and her husband Jim of Hampton, Va., Sarah P. Smith and her husband Rob of Richmond, Va., Jim Pruitt of Cape Charles, Brook Thomas of Belle Haven, Va., and Emily Thomas of Norfolk, Va.; four great grand children, Hunter Pruitt, Jaden Thomas, Adam Burak, and Walker Smith. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, October 19th at 1:00 pm from the graveside of Cape Charles Cemetery with the Rev. Randy Lewis officiating. Family and friends may call at the Wilkins-Doughty Funeral Home Wednesday evening from 7 to 8:30.
