Marguerite B. Kerris

Marguerite B. Kerris, 74, wife of Robert E. Kerris and a resident of Exmore, VA, passed away Monday, December 27, 2010 at Riverside Shore Memorial Hospital. A native of Bronx, NY, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Mary Ellen Moriaty Hennigan. Mrs. Kerris was a retired teacher's aid for Northampton County Public Schools. In addition to her husband, survivors include four children, Mary Ellen Jordan of West Orange, NJ, Laura Pothin of Barrington, RI, John Jordan of Brooklyn Heights, NY, Thomas Jordan of Montclair, NJ; three stepchildren, Robert Kerris of Atlanta, GA, Barbara Bujak of Brick, NJ, Richard Kerris of LaCosta, CA; eleven grandchildren, Shaun Pothin, Amanda Pothin, Khloe Jordan, Danielle Bujak, Catie Kerris, Alana Hawker, Scarlet Kerris, Madeline Kerris, Zoe Kerris, Michelle Kerris, and Lisa Kerris; two great grandchildren; one sister, Beatrice Rowe of The Villages, FL; and one nephew, Terrence Rowe of Florida. Mrs. Kerris was predeceased by a son, Neil Jordan and by a brother, Rev. Thomas Hennigan. Funeral services will be conducted Friday, December 31, 2010, at 4:00 PM at Doughty Funeral Home, Exmore, Virginia with Father J. Michael Breslin officiating.
