Margie Parker Hughes

Mrs. Margie Parker Hughes, 65, wife of Leonard E. "Buddy" Hughes and a resident of Cheriton passed away at her residence on Wednesday, August 10, 2005. She was the daughter of the late George Parker and the late Aline Marshall Parker. She was a member of Full Gospel Church, Bayview, Va. Other than her husband, survivors include three daughters, Marsha H. Pruitt and her husband Peter of Cheriton, Va., Sandy H. Alford and her husband Donald of Virginia Beach, Va., and Leslie H. Jones and her husband Hank of Cape Charles, Va.; a brother, Irving Parker of Sparta, Tennesse; three sisters, Elsie Moore of Capeville, Va., Lindy Hinman of Pocomoke City, Md., and Ruby Farthing of Avon Park, Fla; six grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, August 13, 2005 at 11:00 AM from the Full Gospel Church, Bayview, Va. with the Rev. Randy E. Lewis officiating. Interment will follow in the Capeville Masonic Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of the Eastern Shore, P.O.
