Margaret C. Scott

Miss Margaret Chancellor Scott, 96, of Cape Charles passed away on Sunday, January 22, 2006 at the Hermitage on the Eastern Shore in Onancock. She was the daughter of the late Albert Preston Scott and the late Susie Rawlings Scott. She was a retired Librarian for Northampton Public Schools, member of Holmes Presbyterian Church and Delta Kappa Gamma. She was an alumni of Mary Baldwin and Mary Washington College. She is survived by two nephews, W. Rawlings Scott, Jr. and his wife Gail of Cape Charles, Va., and Preston Hughes Scott and his wife Alison of Richmond, Va.; two great nieces, Anna Corinne Scott Lam of San Francisco, Ca., and Sara Elizabeth Scott Calton of Cape Charles, Va. Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 PM Friday, January 27, 2006 from the graveside of Cape Charles Cemetery with the Rev. Ernest L. Gardner, III officiating.
