Margaret N. Root

Margaret Neville Root, 74, died May 9, 2006 at INOVA Loudoun Hospital Center in Leesburg, Va. Born Aug. 7, 1931 in Nassawadox, Va., she was the daughter of the late Richard Neville and the late Mary Elsie Foster Neville. Ms. Root was a benefits coordinator with Loudoun Memorial Hospital for 21 years and a member of St. James Episcopal Church. She is survived by her four children, Robert Root of New Jersey, Susan R. Minter of Sharpsburg, Md., Richard A. Root of Norcross, Ga., and Phillip W. Root of Waterford, Va.; and eight grandchildren. A memorial service will be held Saturday, July 29, 2006 at 3:00 PM in Cape Charles Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Ms. Root's memory to St. James Episcopal Church, 14 Cornwall St., Leesburg, VA 20176 Arrangements made by Wilkins-Doughty Funeral Home, Cape Charles.
