Margaret Doughty Isdell, 78, wife of the late Roy D. Isdell and a resident of Quinby, Va., passed away Thursday, April 17, 2008. A native of Harborton, Va., she was the daughter of the late Frank Lee Doughty and the late Lillian Sturgis Doughty. Mrs. Isdell was retired from the C&P Telephone Company with over twenty-five years of service and a member of Smith Chapel United Methodist Church. She is survived by a daughter, Terry Williams Bowling of Tasley,Va., three sisters, Dorothy Aprilliano of Dover, De., Pauline Scavone and her husband John of Terre Haute, In., and Odell Watkins of Hillsboro, Md.; two grandchildren, Dr. Donald Bruce Bowling and his wife Nicole of Portsmouth, Va., and Norman Carr Bowling of Onley, Va. She was predeceased by six sisters and a brother. Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, April 20, 2008 at 3:00 PM from the Doughty Funeral Home with the Rev. Tom Durrance and the Rev. Jon M. Woodburn officiating. Interment will follow in Fairview Lawn Cemetery, Onancock, Va.
