Margaret Hyslop Mader East

Margaret Hyslop Mader East, 94, passed away Sunday, December 26, 2010. Margaret was born in Craddockville, VA, graduated valedictorian from Central High, Painter, VA in 1933, and earned an RN degree from Norfolk General Hospital School of Nursing in 1938. A former resident of Seaford, DE, she retired to Englewood, FL in 1972 and moved to Seminole in 2005. She was preceded in death by parents John Smith Hyslop Sr. and Sadie LeCato Hyslop, husbands Robert Charles Mader Sr. and E. Edwin East, and is survived by her brother John Smith Hyslop Jr. of Exmore, VA; daughter Charlene (Robert) Harris of Seminole, FL and son Robert (Donna) Charles Mader, Jr. of Hixson, TN; grandsons Jeff (Julie) Mader of Ooltewah, TN and Brian (Amy) Mader of Birmingham, AL, four great grandchildren, a niece and a nephew. She was a loving mother and friend and will be profoundly missed. Visitation with family at Doughty Funeral Home, Exmore, VA on Monday, January 3 from 10 am until noon. Graveside service at Belle Haven Cemetery at 1 pm with the Rev. Judith Worthington officiating.
