Margaret Jones Carpenter

Mrs. Margaret Jones Carpenter, 76, wife of the late William Thomas Carpenter and a resident of Belle Haven passed away, Sunday, May 21, 2006 at her residence. A native of Belle Haven she was the daughter of the late Issac D. Jones and the late Emma Savage Jones. She was a member of Belle Haven Presbyterian Church. She is survived by a daughter, Cindy C. Matthews and her husband Douglas of Onancock, Va.; two brothers, I.D. Jones, Jr. and his wife Sandra of Exmore, Va., Franklin Jones and his wife Glenda of Suffolk, Va., two grandchildren, Lauren Matthews and Jeremy Bonniwell both of Onancock, Va. She was predeceased by a sister, Katherine Bell and a brother, Bill Jones. Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, May 24, 2006 at 2:00 PM from the graveside of Red Bank Cemetery, Marionville, Va. The Rev. Jonathan Carpenter will officiate.
