Margaret Custis Campbell

Margaret Custis Campbell, 83, wife of the late Joe W. Campbell and a resident of Painter, VA, passed away Monday, December 19, 2011 at her residence. A native of Onancock, VA, she was the daughter of the late Floyd and Ethel Custis. She was the retired owner of Campbell's Grocery in Painter and a member of Painter Garrison United Methodist Church. She is survived by a son, William C. Campbell and his wife, Connie, of Painter; a granddaughter, Amy C. Cooper of Painter; two brothers, Tommy Custis and his wife, Lillian, of Smyrna, DE, Scotty Custis and his wife, Louise, of New Castle, DE; five sisters, Connie Trader and her husband, Billy, of Onancock, Annie Johnston of Accomac, VA, Norma Justis and her husband, Ames, of Onancock, Betty Groton of Delmar, DE, Linda Bullis of Delmar; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by four brothers, Roland Custis, Donald Custis, Floyd Custis and Coby Custis. A graveside service will be conducted Thursday, December 22, 2011 at 2:00 PM at Onancock Cemetery with the Reverend Rebecca McGee and the Reverend Bobby Parks officiating.
