Margaret Mears Ames

Mrs. Margaret Mears Ames, 76, wife of the late Ralph Henry Ames and a resident of Yorktown, Va., formerly of Nassawadox, passed away Thursday, January 11, 2007 at the Riverside Regional Medical Center in Newport News, Va. A native of Onley, she was the daughter of the late William Mears and the late Elizabeth Chance Mears. She is survived by three children, Kathy A. Vines and her husband Jim, Michele A. Rudolph and her husband Tom,& Gordon Ames and his wife Lisa all of Yorktown, Va.; five grandchildren, Jennifer Barthlome and her husband Kerry, Natalie Vines, Erica, Julie,& Ashley Leggette, and two great grandchildren, Joshua and Sierra Barthlome. Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, January 14th at 2:00 PM from the graveside of Fairview Lawn Cemetery in Onancock with the Rev. Jack D. Pruitt officiating.
