Mae Powell Duer

Mrs. Mae Powell Duer, 91, wife of the late Calvin Rue Duer and a resident of Belle Haven passed away Thursday July 28, 2005 at Shore Memorial Hospital. Mrs. Duer, a native of Belle Haven, was the daughter of the late George Powell and the late Olive White Powell. She was a member of Belle Haven United Methodist Church and retired from the Exmore A&P store after thirty years of service. Mrs. Duer is survived by three daughters; Connie D. Bonniwell and her husband Ben of Belle Haven, Va., June D. Charnock and her husband Ray of Belle Haven, Va., and Carolyn D. Maher and her husband Bob of Nassawadox, Va., eight grandchildren, Ken Charnock, Gayle Ashby, Brian Charnock, Benjie Bonniwell, George Rodney Bonniwell, Paula Atkinson, Chuck Crockett, and Renee Crockett; eighteen great grandchildren; one great great grandchild; five nieces and four nephews. Funeral services will be conducted Sunday July 31, 2005 at 2:00 PM at Belle Haven United Methodist Church with the Rev. Robert Schoeman and Rev. Jack D. Pruitt officiating. Interment will follow in the Belle Haven Cemetery. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to Belle Haven United Methodist Church, c/o David Elliott, P.O.
